33 YEARS AND COUNTING PART 1

This week marks the 33rd year since I finished my Allied Dunbar sales-associate course at their training centre just outside Swindon. Two weeks, and we were unleased on the public. The State was being reeled back by the Thatcher reforms. You couldn’t buy enough insurance, because there wouldn’t be a social security system, and you literally couldn’t save enough money, because the state pension when you retired would no longer be active. How sad that we have since her had a procession of really poor prime ministers – and we are still living off the back of that woman’s reforms. Remember the 365 economists?
