33 YEARS AND COUNTING PART 2

This week marks the 33rd year since I finished my Allied Dunbar sales-associate course at their training centre just outside Swindon. I joined the Cheltenham Branch and my sales figures on an enormous board by the entrance started at Nil, and reverted to Nil on the first of every month. In case we didn’t notice, the same figures were circulated every Saturday morning in the post! That is pressure!

What have I learned since? Well for one thing, that office was full of hot air, and those types haven’t gone away. They make a lot of noise, and vanish just as quick. Some of them even went to jail! Perhaps that is life.
