A fresher look for BAT: updates are on the way

We’re working on a series of improvements across BAT to give the platform a cleaner, more modern look and feel.

BAT has continued to grow over the years, with new tools, functionality and workflows being added across the platform. As the system develops, we also want to make sure the experience of using BAT develops with it.

That means taking a closer look at the interface itself.

What are we changing?

Over the coming updates, you may start to notice changes to the way different areas of BAT look and feel.

We’re reviewing elements such as:

• Page layouts and spacing
• Buttons and navigation
• Forms and input fields
• Tables and information displays
• Consistency between different parts of the platform

The aim is to make BAT feel cleaner and to streamline processes, while making important information and actions easier to identify.

More than just a new look

These changes are not simply about making BAT look different.

Good interface design can make everyday tasks quicker and easier. Clearer layouts can reduce unnecessary clicks, stronger visual hierarchy can make information easier to scan, and consistent controls mean users spend less time figuring out where things are.

As BAT continues to introduce more functionality, having a simple and intuitive interface becomes even more important.

Familiar workflows, improved experience

We’re not redesigning BAT for the sake of changing things.

Where possible, the workflows users are already familiar with will remain the same. Instead, the focus is on improving how those workflows are presented and making the overall experience feel more polished and intuitive.

You may see these improvements appearing gradually across different areas of BAT rather than through one large platform-wide change.
